GReddy Profec B Spec II Electronic Boost Controller

Anybody who has been in the import world for the last 10 years would easily recognize the brand name GReddy, and for a reason, quality products and this one does not let the name down.

The Profec B Spec II upon first inspection looks like a simple little unit with two buttons on the left side (select and mode), a center display and a dial on the right (set). Upon further inspection and installation it has a little more to offer then what the first glance shows and without instructions this thing could possibly be figured out, but not in a sufficient manner. So my suggestion is get the instructions from here and look at it for yourself before the purchase to make sure you familarize yourself a little better with the product. Overall installation is pretty strait forward, power ground, selenoid, and hoses...etc I would say give yourself about 1-2 hours if your pretty familar with working on cars, other than that see if someone can possibly help you who is more knowledgble if not.

The product works beautifully and has enough features to satisfy your boost bug. Not only does it allow you to run much higher boost then your waistgate spring is set at, but it also lets you adjust how fast the boost itselfs comes in. Not to mention the failsafe feature which prevents overboost should a problem arise. It also sports a high and low boost function for the weekend warriors. So full tunability is made possible with this quait little unit. Only downside I could possibly give this thing is the cost at around $350 US dollars it could cost you a bit more then a cheap $60 manual alternative, but trust me it's worth it. Being able to have precise control over your boost and a overboost protection may be the difference between a fast car and a blown up one...
